This pet pelt was purchased as a gift for El Gato Gordo, our 18-pound feline. It apparently gives the cat the jim-jams -- he won't come near it. The dog, however, treats it like a security blanket: if he is in the room, some portion of his doggie anatomy is in contact with the pelt. This keeps a ... Read More

Super soft! Very thick! High quality! Will buy again!

This is a great pelt, not "pet grade" like the listing implies, but very high quality and the chocolate color is a warm, rich hue. I bought several of them for myself and as gifts and everyone (including the dogs) loves them. They're great draped over leather furniture.

I bought this for my 18 month old grandson. He loves it so much. He has developed a bedtime ritual. After his bath he rolls about on it before putting on his pajamas. It is very relaxing for him.

I also have one on my office chair and for at my feet at my desk. Very pleasurable.

Lovely!! I bought 4 for gifts & 3 for my cats. Bought an extra because one was noticeably thicker& denser, so I kept it for myself & needed another for my cat.

I've purchased many of these for my cats and for my friends' cats too. They all love to knead them and lay upon them for warmth. I purchased one for my Mom to put on her lap when she allows her (previously feral) outdoor cat to sit with her because he refuses to stay indoors, but has learned to love the comfort of a human's attention.

  • Question “How thick is this rug? ”
Asked on 7/18/2014 8:42:13 PM by Gina from Illinois
    • Answer It's very thick and plush. You've never felt anything this soft. I use it as a resting place for my bare feet under my desk. You will love this product.

    • Answer about 1 & 1/2 " thick, very comfortable and the fur is beautiful
Answered on 7/19/2014 5:44:03 AM by ladygardener from VA
    • Answer I measured the 'fur' from the hide up and it is quite plush, about 1 3/4 to 2", not including the hide. It's very nice to lean against, if you place it on the back of a chair. If you are thinking about using it on the floor, it will feel great to your bare feet. If you have in mind placing in in front of a door, I did place one on the floor to see if my interior door would 'clear' it - and it would not. Mine was too thick for that. Hope this answers your question.
