I bought 10 of these and scattered them all around my house. I have already washed and dried 4 of them and they look like brand new. I bought the brown/green, but love all the colors. You won't be sorry with this bed. It comes in several sizes

These were not quite what I expected, a bit thinner. More like a dog matt than a dog bed or pillow. However, my dogs love them and the holdup and launder well. I would definitely repurchase them.

My dogs love them so much they drag them around the house with them so they can lie on them wherever they are.

I bought this to put inside a crate. My dog is not hard on things but is going to pull this mat (not a "bed") apart in no time; She has already been working on the ribbon loop (meant for hanging the bed?) The fleecy fabric seems cheap. The "bed" is very thin- hardly any fill at all. The photo is deceiving- that must be one tiny puppy! The "bed" is very small; In fact, I should measure it because I really don't think its 24x17". Also I think it was returned by another dog owner because my dog keeps smelling it intently. Probably going back if I can deal with the hassle.

I bought this for traveling and haven't tested it out yet, but it should meet the criteria for small footprint packing and comfort for Madame Ruby. If your dog is over 20 pounds this size won't work.

Very nice, soft material. A bit smaller than I thought for my small-medium pooch.

These are the softest crate pads I've ever gotten. My dogs love them!

  • Question “Would this be big enough for a cocker spaniel? Or is this for really small dogs?”

Asked on 4/17/2010 12:00:00 AM by Chelle from Cheyenne, WY
    • Answer I think your cocker spaniel would be more comfortable on a medium as the small is very small. 17" x 24" really isn't much room. Has been reviewed to be great to place in a chair for a cat or small dog.
Answered on 4/19/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer This item, the small bed, would be too small for your Spaniel. I would go with a medium.
Answered on 6/17/2010 12:00:00 AM by DrLew from Albuquerque, NM
    • Answer It works for the crate, or a as a place to curl up by the fire, but would not allow a cocker spaniel to stretch - the medium is a better choice for a medium dog.

    • Answer This one is pretty small even for a cat. If my cat stretches out she'll definitely hang off of it. How big is a cocker spaniel?
Answered on 8/9/2010 12:00:00 AM by Not-a-crazy-cat-lady YET from Salt Lake City
    • Answer The small size would be too small for a cocker spaniel. This small size would suit very small dogs.
