I have several of these, and have been using them long enough to make commentary on their durability: They last through washing machines and a wild pack of critters who love them, gnaw on them (occasionally) and waller around on them! What's even better, is they do not cost and arm and a leg

I was expecting a thicker substance. Maybe good for on a carpet, a little lean for a crate.

Very cheap and flimsy. I don't think it will hold up very long.

I've had several of this company's dog beds for years and they were great for the dogs and great for me because I could just toss them in the washer and dryer when needed. Unfortunately when I washed these ones for the first time the filling clumped up inside and I've had to return them. Fortunately, STP had some others by the same company and they accepted these in exchange with no shipping charges due to defective merchandise. Good customer service, but disappointing experience with the product... I hope the next ones wash okay when they get here!

I got this as a gift for a family pet. It did not take long for him to take to it, and now he sleeps on it every night. This is for a big dog and my pet is big and does love it. Very comfortable for the dog with out being to bulky or puffy.

This is my third set of OllyDog beds. They last FOREVER through washing after washing and my dogs love them on the floor, in their kennels and on our bed as protection. I have large dogs and the extra large works fine. I still have my first set from ten years ago that were more like a velour than the fleece that these ones are made of, but I've relegated the older ones to my car where they get more dirty. You can just throw them in the washer AND dryer and the filling does not shift around at all. If you want something really thick, these are not for you, but if you want something more like a comfy mat they will fit your needs. They're a little more money than I'd like to pay even with the big discount from STP, but they last and last and last.

    • Answer Looking at the dimensions I do not think it would be large enough once he is full grown.

    • Answer Spencer, If he curls up I would say yes it is big enough, but if he sprawls out when resting it might be a little small for a 200lb. dog.

    • Answer I don't think it would be a good purchase. I think it looks like a postage stamp under our 80 pound lab. We have friend with a 200lb. mastiff and he would definitely not fit on the extra large bed.

    • Answer These beds are barely large enough for our two labrador retrievers (approximately 70 & 80 pounds). I would not recommend these beds for any puppy or aggressive chewer.

    • Answer Spencer: It is comfortable for my 85 pound German Shepherd, but would probably not be good as a stand alone bed for a two hundred pounder! It's not wide enough. Check out the ORVIS beds they get on STP (or check out ORVIS themselves). They can be expensive, but they are very durable and user friendly (easy to clean).

    • Answer Yes! I bought this for my growing Newfoundland puppy. It is plenty big just not as thick and firm as higher priced items.

    • Answer I would say no. Go with something much larger this one's only 28 x 40.

    • Answer This bed is just big enough for my 77 # Golden Retriever. I think the extra large Kimler would work better.

    • Answer Nope. It would be good for a while but my 75 lb lab and my 25 cattle take up one whole bed. I have two but they sure are soft and easy to clean
