I liked everything about the hammock except that one of the strings that attached the loop to the hammock was not attached. It was defective so I had to return it.

I wish there was more colors to choose from, because these colors look like the gay pride colors(no offense, just an observation), but this is a nice hammock overall.

This is a nice hammock for a small pace. We hung it between two trees where the space is too small for a hammock with wooden parts. It is a little tricky to get in and out of, but very comfortable once situated. Don't know how long it will last since it is cotton, but we will enjoy it this spring and early summer.

  • Question “What hardware would I use to be able to hang this between two trees? Chains better than rope, etc?”
Asked on 5/31/2012 12:00:00 AM by Angela from Winchester, Va.

    • Answer i purchased tree straps . but i think if you can do good knots you could hang it with strong rope.

  • Question “Would this be compatible with the Stand for Product #98173? Have the Hammock and stand from Product #98173, but we left it outside one winter in Seattle. So, with all of the rain, it's mildewed, and I'm not so sure of the wood frame. I also prefer this one since it doesn't have a wood frame and would likely be much easier to clean, maybe in the washer on a gentle cycle.||Thanks,”
Asked on 7/14/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer You may have to use some rope to make it work as this is only 7' and the stand is 10'.

  • Question “Can someone help please - what kind of carabiner can I use to hang this hammock with? Using in my back yard, would like to remove quickly in case of rain/etc. The carabiner I bought is too small?||Can someone just point me to a carabiner they use that fits over the loops of this hammock?||Thank you.”
Asked on 7/11/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer A simple carabiner such as Item #3590K would work. As long as it is a climbing quality or equipment specific carabiner it will be able to hold the weight.

  • Question “Can you answer in more detail about how to make this hammock work with the larger stand, Item #98045? How exactly would you use extra rope, if you don't have the convenient rings on the end? would you have to add rope on each end, or would it be stable if you just added rope to one end? Thanks!”
Asked on 4/18/2011 12:00:00 AM by JJ from VT
    • Answer I use caribineers and rope with tying knots. You would add an equal amount of rope to each end.
