If you are going to use your trek pole on cement, rock, hardwood floors, or any other hard surface you need the rubber boot. Got these to cover my tips for the Inca Trail. Seemed to work fine until I notice that one was split down the side by the second day use and eventually broke off. Cheap enough I suppose, but was hoping they would last a little longer.

Haven't used these yet but they fit on my Komperdell poles. Another reviewer said that the tip of the pole pierced them but these have enough room that the tips of the poles don't hit them. I bought these for hiking rocky surfaces where the regular tips slip.

I bought these to use with the
Komperdell Walker Cane Grip Trekking Pole - Anti-Shock.
After less than a day of use, the rubber tip split. The diameter of the end of the pole is too large for the diameter of the rubber tip. There was no indication that these tips are not meant to be used for this particular pole. Sierra Trading Post very kindly replaced the tips.
Perhaps the other Komperdell poles are more slender in which case I presume these rubber tips would work just they should.

If you have Komperdell poles you need Komperdell tips. Generics tend to be too large to grip the pole. Luckily Sierra Trading Post carries the tips and I recommend you stock up. I go through two sets of tips a year. I can't say that I am over-active but I do a lot of walking and I use my poles a lot due to my degenerative arthritis in my knees, feet, and ankles. If you love the poles, you have to love these tips.
I just tested mine on a pair of synergy sports (costco) set I bought at a estare sell for $5.00. The results, they fit better than the set already on the poles. I have also used them on Cabela'a walking, photo and shooting stick. These are truly a universal fit item in my experience. I suggest ordering more than one set.Just find a safe place to cache the extra ones.

I use them on my Komperdell Walker Antishock UL. Looking at their tips and that of the Komperdell-Carbon-Approach-Vario-4-Compact-Trekking-Poles, the tips should work both poles appear to have the same taper carbide tips.

Do not know. If these poles have a 7 mm tip, then yes.

I'm not familiar with Komperdell Poles 4237C However, these tips have a 3/8 inch opening and are 1 1/2 inch long. They fit my German Walking Poles perfectly..... after being very snug when I was replacing the tips. Thick rubber or whatever material they're made of insure a long life.
