Waist size off by a couple inches, XL was way too big for me, typically a 36 waist. I had return. Also, the string tie in front doesn't go all the way around like some suits. If you get the right size, the suit is fine.

This is a great pair of swim shorts. I really like the style and quality. The only drawback was that the large seemed very large. I think I fall somewhere between Quiksilver's medium and large. I would buy this short again but maybe in a medium next time. I'm 6"1' with a 34" waist.

Nice looking shorts that are good for play or lounge. Only complaint is that the netting is a bit tight.

About Quiksilver

Australian-based Quiksilver is one of the world's largest makers of surf apparel and boardsport equipment. Around since 1970, their success was no accident. Two surfers from the famous Bells Beach area, known for its killer breaks, redesigned the wetsuit specifically for surfing. Their unique wetsuits were such a sensation that they immediately caught on overseas, leading to the founders' several-million-dollar paycheck when they sold the distribution rights in the U.S. just six years later. Today Quiksilver produces beachwear for the young-minded, including board shorts and surf tees. Quiksilver sponsors roughly 500 pro and amateur surfers, snowboarders, and skaters, including surfer Kelly Slater and skating pioneer Tony Hawk. Look for their signature logo – a tsunami curling over a mountain – on virtually all their apparel.
