I have used these boots this fall in the Cascades in Washington. Probably 20 miles on three or four mountain hikes. They work quite well and are dry. This fall there has been a lot of running water on the trails and I have been dry and secure in the water and on snow.

Tromp aruond the mountains here, sun, snow, rain, mud, nothing stops these boots from taking me where i want to go. I've used these also for snowshoeing and they're great, especially in the deep stuff. Keep my feet warm, dry and toasty.

This is probably the first boot that I did not get a rub or blister on my foot. The boot is stiff, but that is what I prefer and pretty light for a mountaineering boot.

Needed to order a full size larger than I expected. I basically needed to do so to get the width I needed. I have a pair of Raichles that I bought in 1995. I still wear them. I liked them so well that I didn't have a problem buying another pair online.

I bought these boots for work - I'm in the construction and landscape industry, so I needed something extra-durable, and waterproof. These boots offered me both. I have worked in ALL conditions, including plowing snow and in swampy areas and they are the best boot I've bought so far. They are extremely comfortable. Finally, after 2-and-a-half years of constant abuse, they have started to lose the waterproof capabilities. Don't get me wrong - they have been cleaned and preserved every month since I bought them to keep them performing to my needs, but all good things come to an end. Overall, an excellent buy.
