    Ihave a bunion on one foot so it's hard for me to find shoes that fit both of my feet,so when a read that the upper foot area on the shoes were a little more spacious I decided to try them. They fit perfect and required no wear in time.Iused them at Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking and they were perfect.I would recommend these to anyone with a foot problem or hard to fit feet ,especially if your foot tends toward the wide side.

    I have wide forefoot and it's nice to have no contact between toes and shoe. I bought knowing these were big-ish, and that left room for additional inserts. Haven't put them in yet, though, because I like the ones that are in there.

    Front part of shoe seemed oversized, toe box wider , higher and longer than normal, and I have a wide foot and don't usually complain about that. I returned the shoes. With other aspects of the shoe I would have liked them if they had fit properly.
