While it is a good-looking and comfortable jacket and is fairly cheap, it also performs cheap. I have traveled in it and went hiking/camping a number of times. First of all, this jacket is cold, only slightly warmer than a thin wind-breaker. The tightness adjusters around the bottom edge are rather weak and let go of the cord as you walk, and let cold air in. Yes it is waterproof to some extent, but during hard rain it starts absorbing water quickly, which does not necessarily get you wet, but later on dries for a LONG time (4-5 hours). There are only two pockets. It fits very well, maybe too well, since putting my campmor fleece underneath makes it somewhat uncomfortable. I would not recommend buying it if you are looking for functionality, rather than a trendy looking mild-weather jacket, and getting a combo of a fleece and a hurricane parka. Would cost you $10-$15 dollars more, but would be more functional and versatile, with more pockets.

I had been looking for a soft shell for a long time, and when I saw this, I knew this was my chance. The fit is trim, but not tight. A mid-weight fleece pullover would fit under it, but not much more. A vest might be a better option. The hood isn't big enough to fit a climbing helmet, which is a bummer, but it's still better than no hood at all. If not for that, it would receive 5 stars. I took it out last weekend in a foggy, misty drizzle and stayed completely dry while all my gear got really nasty damp.

Good spring jacket, great fit and versatile for lots of different activities especially, with the hood. Great with wind and water but not very warm without layers. I also wish it had a 1-2 more pockets.

This is a basic softshell jacket. Perfect for travel. It rolls up very tiny. The pockets are large but there could be a secret pocket on the inside... maybe. Also, the jacket has a smell similar to neoprene for the first week. Then it goes away. Great jacket, its exactly what you need for light traveling and/or Southern California weather

Found the chest size too small for an XL (normally wear a L). The sleeve length was too long for me but probably about right for the XL size. Returned the product as a L was even less likely to fit. Other than a cheap plastic zipper the jacket seem to be well made.

Trim fitting - can be tight on big men (like me!) Excellent in cold, rainy conditions. 3 solid days of rain tested it from Day #1. Outstanding. NO moisture penetration. Light weight, but durable. THIS is one outstanding jacket!

I BOUGHT THIS JACKET MAINLY FOR BACKPACKING IN SPRING AND FALL, BUT DECIDED THAT I REALLY LIKED THE STYLE , AND WEAR IT DAILY NOW. THE ONLY DOWNFALL I CAN FIND IS THAT ITS A LITTLE LIGHT FOR THE COLDER DAYS (30 AND UNDER),BUT THAT CAN BE REMEDIED BY LAYERING WITH A ZIP UP FLEECE UNDERNEATH.

Seems to be well made. YKK zippers, neoprene fitted cuffs to keep the water out, no velcro. This will be great for fly fishing. The cuffs keep water from running down your casting arm, and there aren't any tabs to catch your fly line.

This jacket rocks! it has a great slim cut to it, fits nice, Love the hood. It also looks very stylish. I bought it because of the price and after getting it, I know I got a great deal. It will keep the rain out, but not sure about the cold, having worn it in Ohio with temps in the 0-10 degree range, it was better to layer it with something else. Love the hood, hard to find a soft shell with a hood. All in all I would recommend it!!

I haven't really worn this jacket yet - the weather needs to warm up. However, this is the jacket "weight" that I was looking for. It is more of a tailored look. I always order a "L" but was warned by other folks that this may be too small. It's not - but there isn't room to wear bulky clothes underneath. It's not your "run-of-the-mill" jacket and that's what I like about it.
