Red Ledge Basic Hooded Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

I bought this for traveling through Eastern Europe next month. I had bought one for my husband and loved his so much that I had to look on Sierra for a womens version....found it and love it! It is warm and with the hood will be great fro the rain, yet nice enough to toss a scarf around the neck and wear it out at night. A fantastic travel buy that will be well used at home as well!

I've been pricing raingear, and was always stopped by the price. This jacket is a third or more of the price of comparable jackets. It is good looking and well made. The only thing is that is runs small, I had to order a size larger than usual.

This is a high quality, well made jacket. I bought it for a packable waterproof jacket, and it will serve me very well, I think. Only negative, it runs really small. I usually wear a size 8-10, and I ordered a medium, and had to return it for a large.

I use this jacket mostly for running outdoors in bad weather (cold, rain, sleet, snow, etc). I am from OH, so we get at least 6 months of it. I orderd black and when it got here, I immediately ordered the other color ( a pinkish). These soft shell jackets go for [$] and normally they don't have a hood. This feels like a well constructed jacket (though I have only owned it for a week), keeps me warm when I layer properly and keeps me dry. It's breathable so I prefer it to a rain jacket that just keeps in the sweat. Very useful edition to your outdoor gear.

I bought a Red Ledge raincoat for myself and it looks great (I've got a little gut, but if I had a little more this wouldn't fit right; definatley for slim guys). As usual, my wife saw it and wanted one too, so I got this one for her. She's an 8 and it fits her great. Can't wait until the snow turns to rain!

This jacket blocks the wind pretty well. Good for layering. Runs a bit small. Great value for a softshell!

I was worried about ordering 3 of these as Christmas gifts as the picture made the material look a bit wierd. The picture was deceptive and the jackets were loved by all recipients-I couldn't have been more pleased. Great price for a nice jacket-reminds me of Isis brand.
