    Tom Waits sang "I shot the morning in the back, put my Red Wings on, told the sun he better go back down...", and in that spirit I bought these shoes. They are perfect for weekends and days with jeans or khakis. Seem very sturdy and durable, but are easy to slip on and comfortable. Instep is just right, not too low like some of the Keen slip ons I tried.

    Purchased to replace a pair of water proof shoes with a padded collar, which give shoes a more snug fit for walking in my forest property. The sole could be a little wider with more grip for increased stability. I need water proof for the winter months here in Oregon. I added an extra pad and with thicker winter socks, they should be fine.
