I used these snowshoes pheasant hunting in some terrible snow and drifts. I can't believe I've ever tromped through snow without them. I weigh 245lbs and these worked great for me. Easy to get on and off and a very secure fit. Have no other snowshoes to compare them to but I can't imagine they get much better. Up and down hills, running and walking on flat ground was no problem...

The binding on these Red Feather Guides 30s fits fine except the back strap is about an inch too short to get around my size 16 over boot. It would be wonderful if I could have a binding that had two more inches length on outside ratchet strap. I sent request for service email to RedFeather and so far no response.

Bought these snowshoes for a couple reasons.Winter hunting, and to walk out if the snow gets to deep to clear around here.Ever since my 1st walk to test them it was so natural.I did not trip over my own two feet.Walking was like they weren't even there, but I went like never before"everywhere".Raised my foot to step over a cable. The pivot hinge allows the back of the shoe to drop, and made me just go around.

Wished the heel strap was just a little longer. Would have made it just a little easier to get on. Otherwise was a great piece of equipment. I was used to old wood & rawhide snowshoes, what a difference! Used them in about 18" of snow with crusty ice in the middle. Hard to accept change but these are nice, floatation was great.

I gave these a run in Montana @ about 8,ooo ft. They handle well in the mountains. I would reccomend these to someone that will work them hard. I love that they are actually American made.

Very good product. My only reservation is I'm not sure how it will hold up in heavily wooded areas as far as tears in the fabric since I haven't been able to put it to the test yet. But it seems very durable.
