    I am a big guy, and these worked great. I was able to navigate up and back on a short backpack. I had a hard time going downhill, but that was because of my inexperience. I just had to get used to the feeling and to trust my gear. They worked great.

    Exceptional performance at an exceptional value. Great for individuals over 220lbs that carry gear. I have used this product in deep powdery snow as well as hard packed snow. Easy to maneuver with and comfortable enough to hike all day. Only item that can be improved is the binding system used in that it could be more user friendly. Other than that, exceptional product at an unbeatable price. Highly recommended.

    Great product for the price and an entry-level shoe. Fit well for a sz 14. Good floatation as I'm 6'3" and 3 bills. Traction seems to be slightly pigeon-toed, but have not swaped Left to Right to see if that makes it slightly better. Overall, I'd recommend for an entry level shoe.

    I've only used these once so far, but had a blast and will definately go again. I have a smaller pair for me and these 36 inchers are for my husband. The snow was icy when I went and these worked very well in those conditions. Can't wait to try them out in powder.

    So glad that I got the 36" even though I'm nowhere near the weight recommendation. The longer snowshoe length turned out to be a non-issue. The snowshoes handled well in about a foot of snow. The only difficulty was trekking in a field that was full of tall grass meant for wildlife habitat/cover. I have no doubt that any snowshoe would be slowed in such terrain.
