Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ironwoodsman from Northeast on Monday, February 11, 2013Got to put these to test in the recent Blizzard in the Northeast. I did just over a mile excursion accross two farm fields into the woods across a ravine to an old logging road. These shoes performed flawlessly in deep powder,up and down hills, and across rough terrain. The live action hinge allowed me to move at a quick pace almost effortlessly. They do flip a little snow up on the back of my legs but it honestly was not that noticable. My one gripe would be the binding which just fit over my size 12 snowboot and was not the easiest thing to tighten or loosen. The racheting heel strap did work fine. My shoes came white with the red feather design. If you get the opposite color design it is pink. All in all a great backcountry snowshoe and with the dealflyer coupon they were a steal.
