Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have been out 3 times on them in 10" of snow, through woods and brush and up and down moderate hills (8-10 miles) Found good traction so far, but intend to take them to steeper terrain next weekend for more extensive use. The bindings barely make it around the heel of my size 15 hunting boot, but didn't work at all on a pair of Redwing leather boots I had planned on using.
I intend to use them for hunting in deep snow and winter hiking in the hills of southwestern Wisconsin.
