No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“They felt great the first time I put them on. I was super excited until they broke only 1/2 mile into the first use. They were only being used on a SUPER easy walk to test them out and the platform broke on both sides of the right shoe by only tapping it on a fallen tree that I was stepping over. I'm really rough on gear and this was in NO WAY being rough. If they can break on a casual trek on a groomed trail, I'd hate to see what would happen on a real test. They are being returned for a completely differnt brand since this company uses the same decking for all their shoes.”
