“I wanted a lighter action bait casting rod to use with 6 or 8 pound test mono and all varieties of baits such as jigs, small spinnerbaits, topwater plugs, sluggos, and Rapalas.
This rod will handle all of those baits quite nicely and the rod has a good medium light action that lets you feel the fish too.”
