Redington Bow River Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

Ever here " you get what you pay for ". Great price ,but not worth it. Planed a great fishing trip to Alaska with my fishing buddys for our 50 th birthdays. floated the upper Keni for trophy rainbows. Right off the bat, Rain all day. within the frist 15 minutes i was soaked to the bone. could not belive it. lucky i had a back up wading jacket from another company. It worked great. As for this one , don't know what went wrong , but it did !! I I LOVE STP , HAVE BOUGHT ALOT OF GREAT STUFF AND WILL CONTINUE TO, BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS HAD IT IN REAL RAIN. PS THE FISHING WAS GREAT TROPHYS IN THE 29" IN CLASS.

Wish it had some D rings for hanging gear like nippers, forceps, leaders, etc. Also would like some pit zips to help regulate temp but the back zippered compartments may help with this. Very well made...sturdy zippers...plenty of pockets.

I am just planning on using this for fishing, so it is a great jacket for me. Warm, lightweight and waterproof. Just exactly what the fish ordered

Jacket is great for fishing. Used it for a week at Lake Shasta. Alot of wind and kept me warm and dry. Couldn't find a jacket like it on the net. Can't go wrong for the price.

Love this jacket with plenty of pockets. Not noisy unlike other shells but yoi need a warm sweater in cold weather. Have not tested in heavy rain yet.

To be truthful, I have not used the jacket in the rain, but my first outing was in frigid weather in a cold river and it preformed well. Specifically, I like the feel to the material compared to many other waterproof fabrics; the excellent sleeve closure; and the handy pockets which allowed me to leave the vest behind.

Great jacket

my husband has been coveting this jacket for a long time. he is a gear junkie who does a lot of research before deciding what he wants. i got this for him for his birthday but there is still too much snow on the ground to go fishing. having said that he stands in the lane with his jacket on practicing his cast and waiting for the snow to melt.

I will use the jacket while I fish the lakes and rivers of Oregon. While we don't get a lot of rain in central Oregon, it does snow in the winter and this jacket looks like it will handle the weather.
