These are nice pants with great design feature. But they run a little small and a little short. When ordering consider a longer length

I use this product in hot countries where shorts are practical but where situations (customs)often require long trousers in certain venues.

I bought these convertible pants with the idea of using them for fishing, hiking, and around the house work. I am a heavier guy that normally wears a 40 waist. While the waist fit perfectly, I would have to wear them like Irkel to have the crotch somewhere near where it's supposed to be. I bought them during a sale and paid hardly anything for them, so I'll hold on to them for around the house work, even though I look like a 'gangsta rappa'. I would not wear these for fishing, hiking, or any pursuit that would take me somewhere that another person might actually see me wearing them! The reason I didn't give it less than 3 stars is because this is sort of par for the course for pants that are sized S/M/L/XL. I'm sure if you are a 160 lb guy that takes a medium that you wouldn't have the same problem, but if you are on the hefty side, fogettaboutit! The XL would be perfect if your 6'7" or taller, but if you're not, stay away.

I bought this for casual wear--I like the convertible feature of removing pant legs when it gets hot. While the fabric is nice, very breathable and soft and looks strong, the fit was horrible. I bought medium men's. the crotch is too low restricting movement while the waist was huge and baggy around the butt. Also the pocket design was not very ample, total lack of cargo pockets. No boot zippers makes them impossible to put on without removing shoes. If you have short legs, large hips, and like to wear your pants high over the navel then maybe these could work for you.
    • Cons: Cheaply made, Difficult to Take on and Off, Poor fit
    • Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational

My husband loves these - he hasn't worn them to go fishing yet, but he's worn them while helping my daughter take care of her horse. He found them great in different temperatures as well - full trousers during cool mornings and zipped-off pant legs when temps climb in afternoons.
