    This is a great little reel, I had bought one months ago and my son loved it so much he 'borrowed' it. I was glad to see them offered again. This reel is so overbuilt, its amazing. Great drag, more than you could ever need on a rod sized to fit.

    I fly fish for trout often and have used a number of different reels. This one is about the best quality I have owned. The only thing I would change is a matte finish to avoid spooking fish.

    The reel is a little heavy but with a 9 ft. rod it balanced out, for the price you cannot go wrong, this is my second CD and I have not had any issues. Lot of fun with Bass,Bluegill and Crappie, have not used for Trout.
