A well known fly fishing school uses these as their instructional rods because of their ease of casting. Very high quality construction and appearance as compared to my more expensive rods. These are the same blanks as the new Redington Tempt series but with minor cosmetic changes. Lifetime Guarantee, construction QC'd by Sage. I am looking for a 3.

For those of us who prefer such rods, the Redington Classic Trout is the perfect product.

Nice to be able to casually cast a decent amount of line without working hard. Ferrules need a little extra cramming to make sure they don't slip and had the reel fall off once due to the up locking ring coming loose but other than that I enjoy using this rod.
