Redington Hunter River Wading Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

I just returned from a 6-day fly fishing trip to Jackson Hole, WY, and the first week of October saw almost record low temperatures and lots of early season snow. I used the jacket every day over 3 layers of clothes and it did a great job of cutting the wind and keeping me dry from the snow and sleet. The fact that the jacket doesn't breathe was not a problem in the cold weather. The jacket hood was particularly roomy and did a fabulous job of cutting the wind and keeping my face from freezing. The large size fit comfortably over my three layers including a fleece sweater. I highly recommmend this jacket to fly fishers and other freshwater anglers!

A perfect waterproof jacket with lots of pockets. The material is not too thin. It has some stretch and doesn't feel like it'll tear easliy - not afraid to move around in it. Highly recommended for rainy weather, travel, and fishing. I would like to see this jacket have an option to come with a warm lining - for my cool weather surf fishing.

Wore in the rain twice and waded once with this jacket and the PVC began to bubble up and de-laminate from the nylon fabric. You'd think a waterproof jacket would be made with waterproof materials. Returned the jacket thinking it may be a one time thing. The second one is no better. It looks nice and the price is right, but only if you need a one use jacket.

Comfortable, good fit throughout. Well worth the price.

Perfect for the fly fisher that isn't scared of the rain. No need for your vest when its raining. Adequate pockets and even the ring for your net to clip onto.

fine enough. i've only worn it out once fishing. my biggest fear is the durability of the shell--i think as i bushwack the rivers anything pointy or prickly will stick/puncture the material and rip easily. i guess i will wait and see. otherwise good for the money but no neopreane cuffs hur the product.

Very nice material, exceeded expectations, however I predict it may be easily torn.

Great value for brand name jacket. Looks good, should be great for wet weather steelhead fishing.

Gobsmacked, for 30 somewhat bucks I got a premium $200 plus waterproof jacket, perfect color for my style of fishing tiny tight streams with spooky brookies.Thanks guys!
