    Lawn cast only at present. Will compare w/ Sage Large Mouth Bass Rod (owned at 3x cost!). I sometimes fish from shorelines with trees and overhangs; casts are not long, but "turning" fish quickly is a benefit.The rod is well built, nicely appointed and selling elsewhere (e.g., Mfgr.) at 2.5x! I hope a different wgt. comes up at STP!

    A great, fun fly rod at an unbeatable price. I had been eyeing these rods since they came out and heard great reviews. Sierra Trading Post made it so I basically couldn't afford to NOT have one.

    I used the rod originally casting to mangrove shorelines, in order to keep fish out of the bushes. I recently fished it with a sinking line in shallow channels, attempting to keep fish from "holing up". It worked well in both instances. Big bang for the buck!
