“I have been fly fishing for over 15 years. This was one of the first rods that I ever used 13 years ago. The original redington RedFly is a phenominal rod especially for those just getting into it. I suggest it to all my friends. I have never had a problem with durability, casting accuracy, or fighting a fish. It's a strong rod with medium flex to protect lighter tippets. It roll casts well, but it really does excel at shooting casts with a double haul. I now use the rod for bass fishing and throwing the larger deer hair bass bugs! GREAT ROD from a GREAT Company.”
