“I bought a one of these for a back-up rod and it worked well when my primary got sliced.
Everyone who has complained about the tangling issues has never loaded a fly line before. All you have to do is load it on an old line spool or simply put something round inside the coil and roll it off.
The downside to this line is it's not as slick as a top-tier line. It also tended to sink and needed to be managed more often to maintain floatability.
I would say the other Redington line is a better value, though it's of slightly lower quality.”
