I just got back from the WA Olympic National Park Beach strip where I did not take this wool/nylon shirt off with the exception to get a little D3 in the sun that came out between showers. Carried about 30 pounds of mostly great food and got sweated up on the way out and back. The shirt kept me warm... Read More

I was curious about the blen nylon merino. I have to say that it extrmly strecthy looks more resistant even if I have a piece of 100 merino that seem keeping up very well. as far as confort, not bad but 100 merino still win. Odor control good. Over all a good piece. About fit xl is what you expect from an xl plus the strechy helps, I am 6 1 and 205 lb.

Price was right for a Merlino blend. Midweight seems more like lightweight sweater to me but like the appearance and for skiing in most conditions this should fit the bill. The reason for the 4 star is that its advertised itch-free and even after washing it has an itch like wool when wearing it although not to the extremes which is do able for me but not 100% likeable. Ordered the XL and fits perfect for a 45 chest, 183lb bod.

These make great winter undershirts. They cling, but they give. Warm when it's cold, but not uncomfortable when inside a warm room. Nice and long, so there's never a plumber butt. Same with the sleeves. Nice buy at the STP coupon price.

cheap nice base layer that wont hold the moisture, which is crucial when its cold out there

If you appreciate sleeves of a length that won't pull up and expose your wrists and forearms every time you reach up or bend your elbows - and likewise for the torso - you'll like this shirt as much as I do. Also, I'd suggest buying one size up if you don't like the feel of a real tight compression fit as the 45% nylon makes for a lot of form-fit ability. I give it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 based on too much nylon content, and less than perfect Chinese manufacturing, but it does work as advertised and is a nice base-layer shirt. I like the Red Ram long-sleeve zip 100% merino better. Look at that one too.
