Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

“Bought two of these rods and they broke the first day of use. The rod blank only extends half way through the lower grip but the grip is hollowed throughout. The grips on both rods broke just at the end of the rod blank. Nice rod but poor design.”
