“I bought this 9 ft, 4-piece, 5 wt fly rod to serve as a back-up to my Sage 5wt Z-Axis rod. I used it for the past 3 days while fly fishing on the Rio Grande River. I cast it hundreds of times while drift boat fishing under a variety of conditions (wind, distance, brush). I really liked it. Frankly, I could tell little difference (both are fast action) from my more expensive Sage fly rod. Given the price, it is a fine value.”
