Great quality linen, label, and craftmanship, but have an unfortunately strange stripe down the outside leg that makes it look like a uniform. I bought the "tea" thinking it would be brown, but they meant green tea. The color is a sage which I do like. I wore them yesterday. They are very comfor...

Exactly as described, better quality than I expected for the price. Wore them in Africa all summer. Linen has such nice characteristics, a little rumpled but breathable and comfortable. In extreme humidity linen does not retain wrinkles which is why it is a fabric of choice in humid, muggy places.

These pants are deliciously light weight and great for very hot weather. However, they fit quite snugly and are not what I would call a "relaxed" fit, and the 'drawstring' waist is decorative rather than functional for adjustment. In addition, some may find the three-button fly inconvenient. However, I love wearing them when the temperature sizzles!

Great quality linen pants from Athleta! I ordered one in each color, they ran true to size for me. You'll need to wear light colored undies when wearing the cream ones. As per the description they have a fun stripe down the side that adds a little something unique. They are lightweight comfortable pants and I couldn't be more pleased. Such a bargain, thanks STP!

After reading the reviews on these pants, I decided to take a chance. I wear a 6-8, but the only size remaining that I could wear was a six. It fit fine everywhere but on the last button, which is more my issue because I had gained a few pounds. I could make them work. I ordered both the green and the natural colors. The green pair seemed a tad larger. I wasn't crazy about the stripe, as other people had noted, so I began ripping it off, again as other reviewers had suggested. What I discovered was that the underlying seam was to the outside, not the inside. Thus I had to rip the side seams as well to turn the unfinished side to the inside. While I did the side seams, I decided to take some off the width of the legs as they were pretty substantial, so I removed about two inches, starting just below the pockets. I am 5'9 and wanted a little more length, so I also rip out the bottom hem, The hem was machine stitched, and I didn't like the stitching showing, so when I lengthened the pants, adding about 1/2", I also handstitched the hem back in. In other words, I pretty much remade the pants. While doing all this work, I noticed the stitching was uniform, placed well and the thread was of good quality. The pants had been well made. The material is very light weight, but down here in Texas in the summer, a light weight material is a good thing. All in all, I would recommend the pants, but just be aware if you are going to remove the stripe, be prepared to do some extra work.
