First of all let me say that I am not one of those woman who wears nice looking shoes that hurt my feet to sport an image. I bought these shoes in the graphite grey color, which is really a graphite brown. I put them on to go to work and thought, "Wow, these are pretty comfortable." I get half way through my day and the balls of my feet start hurting really bad. I haven't worn them since. Although, the other night I thought maybe inserts would help so I grabbed some inserts I have out of a different pair of shoes. I pulled their insoles out and realized they were super thin in the ball of the foot. I put mine in, but to no avail. I have the wrong inserts for these shoes. I still think inserts may help and will try and find a pair for the shoes. In the mean time, I am on my feet too much to wear these shoes. I'll take comfort over looks any day! More comfort would have given these a five, because they are cute.

I got the dark red and love the color. The shoes aren't super comfy, that's why I gave them 4 stars. They are OK, but I wouldn't wear them on a walking tour. I usually wear size 7 and based on the others' reviews got size 37. I am glad I did, I find that Remonte Dorndof shoes fit a little larger than other brands.

The first time these shoes were on my feet, I was in them all day long; shopping, walking the mall, going out for dinner. No problems! No sore feet, blisters, or raw rubbed areas. (I wore them with a thin sock.) My foot runs a little on the wide side but mostly medium is o.k. I wear a size 8. I ordered European 39 in the medium listed. It is a very accommodating fit. The styling with the silver ordainment is lovely; just right, not too much.
