Remonte Dorndorf Waynette 70 Boots - Leather (For Women)

I was looking for a boot that could go with everything. These fit the bill and are really comfortable, as well. Great with jeans, dresses, etc. The color is very neutral and though they're a bit snug with super thick wool socks, they fit perfect with a mid-weight sock.

They are comfortable and stylish. I like the comfortable sherpa lining and the fact that they are not high heels. I prefer flat shoes for the health of my feet but love the look of heels. These boots have the stylish look of heels without the height.

These boots are so comfortable and easy to wear. The foot and shaft are completely sheepskin lined and the removable insole is a heavy wool felt-like material. I am a 7.5N and the 7.5M is perfect with winter socks. I have a fallen arch and bunion on my right foot and it is very hard to find a shoe/boot that doesn't cause foot discomfort. No discomfort at all with these boots. I ordered both toffee and black, kept the black and returned the toffee as it's darker color toe made it look as if it turned up at the toe. Otherwise, I would have kept both.

I have had the brown ones (bought full price in NYC) for two years now, and love them. Super comfortable, wool lining is warm, but not too hot, and low heel so easy to walk in all day. And I get lots of complements on them. So when I went to look for black boots this year, I was really excited that STP had them for half the price I paid for my brown ones! Doesn't get better than that!!

The black ones have a different leather, so they were stiffer at first, and a little narrower, it seemed. But the leather is lovely, and is breaking in nicely. I don't foresee any issues, and have been wearing them constantly.

With regard to the leather: the brown ones have more of a nubuck-type leather, it appears. Or it's just a drier leather. In any case, it doesn't appear as waterproof. The black ones seem like they will do better in weather. (For both of them, I have applied leather-specific weather-proofing product, since I use them in the snow).

These fit true to size (7) and have a nice, cozy wool fleece lining. They are high quality boots with nice leather that's a little darker than the photos also. It's a nice honey brown with tasteful distressing. The soles are flexible and the boots are truly comfortable. That said, the toes are rounded and look more country than I expected. That may be what you're looking for but I'm a little more Donnie, rock and roll.
