Renee Dumarr Dinner Guest Suit - Jacket and Skirt (For Women)

The thing managed to look both concervative and trashy. Sent back.

When I first got this suit, I thought I would have to wear the pieces as separates - the turquoise was too overwhelming. But after removing a couple of inches of the flailing cuffs, the jacket was suddenly sleek. Similarly, after shortening the skirt (twice - I wasn't brave enough the first time), the whole suit became well-proportioned. I still think this will be very useful worn as separates, but it also now works as a suit. So few clothes come in pretty, uplifting colors, that this is a boost to my wardrobe. I did not find that it ran small. I think it's true to size.

I wore this beautiful suit to a country club wedding and received many compliments. The color is wonderful. The fabric is a rich, silky blue. The cut shows off curves. Simply my favorite dress suit of all time.

Unfortunately, it was one size too large for me, and I had to return it.
