I was impressed by the quality of these glasses but alas the lenses were too small.

All I can say is this was not at all what I was expecting the glasses to look like. They aren't bad at all, but just not what I expected. Very very light weight. The eye opening is smaller, and thus not the more fashionable big glasses that are popular with women. But also not so small as to be stylistic as small cat-eye glasses either.

I wanted a nice and light pair of shades with nose pads to wear hiking in hot weather and these seem perfect. Not sure about the durability of the lightweight material, but the price was right for a gamble.

I bought these and the Sobeks, both lenses, so 4 pairs total. The Goannas have a somewhat "cateye" shape imo and looked too fem on my particular face, so I gave them to my girlfriend; she absolutely loves them. The brown lense (and brown frame) is a little lighter-lets more light in- than the grey lense; I've been using the brown lense Sobeks for driving and the darker lense black/red framed for skiin'. Got a great deal on them here--less than 1/3 of retail price. I've also snagged some bargain high quality skiwear (Kjus brand)here. PS. I work in Cheyenne occasionally and always hit the store there, mainly for great shoe/boot dept. bargains/high end brands like Asolo.
    • Best Uses: Everything
    • Cons: none
    • Pros: high quality lense, Super lightweight
