Resistol

Had to buy one of these for myself, after ordering one in green for my son - I couldn't resist! The color is rich, the fit is good (I like the generous sleeve length and slightly trimmer fit, which makes it not quite so bulky looking). The front design is sort of thready, but as another reviewer commented, it's easy enough to trim up - I didn't bother, and it's come through the wash just fine. It may say it's for men, but ladies, it will look good on you, too!

I have wanted a good cowboy hat for my entire life. My husband surprised me with a gift of this Resistol hat for my birthday. It fits perfectly, is very well made and will be the mainstay of my wardrobe for my entire life. Finally, I can fulfill my inner cowboy. Another plus is that it is made in USA (my purchases at Sierra Trading Post are often limited by the lineup of foreign-made goods).

Its strange Resistol doesn't make a 3x but does make a 4x in this style. I tried searching the internet and just came up with an exact match but was a 4x. I wonder if this was a proto-type or if its just mis labeled. But its a great hat. I have two,one brown and one black. Had to stretch them both because 7 fits like a 6 7/8.

I got this to replace my old Stetson that was finally too embarrassing to wear in public anymore. What an upgrade! I love it. A lot of stylish details that I love and don't want to pay for--ribbon, great little concho, pencil roll. Feels very well made. I'm a long oval and this fit perfectly. Would absolutely buy it again. (Does show lint and hair, though.)
