These are well made shoes, the fit is great and I have no doubt I will be as satisfied as I am with my other Merrell's. And of course a GREAT STP price.

My running days are long behind me, but trail runners are good for me because of the fit and stiffer sole for my aching feet. The Merrell Capra does it all - I can wear them all day due to the outstanding support and fit.... for my size 9 feet the toe box isn't too snug or too cavernous, and the heel cup and sides are perfect. Looks good, too. Now about that running...

I only buy Merrells so I admit my bias. These are comfortable and good looking. The sole is pretty sturdy but not too stiff. Good for hiking or regular life.

I have only worn them around town, but so far they feel great. Sole is a little stiff, but I like that. The blue color is pretty dark. I use custom insoles, so I can't comment on them. I don't care for the laces as the seem a little light duty, but I will see how the hold up.

I'd your foot is slightly wider than medium,....these Merrells might just be your new go to shoes.. fit great, great arch support, and great fit and finish, and look great with jeans.

I always hesitate to review shoes because fit is so personal to a person's taste and the shape of a foot. In the case of these shoes, they seem to fit my feet well. As I have gotten older my arch has dropped somewhat. These shoes have good arch support but are not excessive. More importantly they appear to be well made. Time and wear will be the decider. But, the finish is good. There are no annoying seams or irritations on the inside lining. The sole is good quality and grip and support is excellent. Also think they will help with my annoying but bearable plantar problem. I probably get 10 to 12 miles of walking for exercise in a week, plus the occasional few mile trail hike when weather permits.
