Very comfortable and true to size . I usually have trouble finding a good fit, especially in the toe area (need width). These fit fine. Good looking shoe. Would recommend.

A bit more snug than I expected but overall very comfortable on a 5 mile hike straight out of the box. Thinner sole for lighter hiking (can feel the rocks on trail). Fairly warm due to the waterproofing. Good overall value.

So happy with these shoes. They are lightweight, supportive, comfortable, and good looking. Run true to size. No breaking in necessary.

Very comfortable with no breaking in period.
Went fishing in them at the river and had lots of traction and no wet feet

These shoes are so cute and I WANTED to love them. But... The toe box is too narrow. Have you ever had a pair of shoes that makes your pinky toe feel crampy? That's how these fit me, and I wear medium width... :(

I bought these to replace some approach shoes made by 5-10 that just KILLED my feet. Every time I wore them, I got hot spots and blisters. These Merrell's fit nicely and feel very cushy. I bought them slightly big (I am in-between sizes and bought the larger size). I hiked on a beach for a couple miles the first time I wore them and they were very comfortable. I also did probably a 2-3 mile hike on packed trails that same weekend, and again they were great. So overall these are great light hiking shoes. I have not tried to do anything with serious elevation gain or mileage in them (but that's not what I bought them for either). Cool color too!

They are very comfortable from the first wearing as well as very nice looking so that I
don't want to get them dirty....but they are trail shoes, so eventually I will have to.

...the shoe, not me. These were not exactly what I was looking for, but the sturdy soles are a decent shoe for light hiking or trail running (enhanced by my inserts). The color of these and the price on sale were irresistible. I prefer more mesh than suede in trail shoes for durability. The amount of suede (however pretty purple) may not stand up as well. It also makes this a warm shoe. I'll use for winter/cold weather hikes.
