This pack replaced a discontinued CamelBak hydration pack we had for years. It was very comfortable right from the start, easy to fill with water and held all the necessities for a day of hiking. People using this pack were 6'1", 6'2", 6'3", and 5'8" and it was fine for all of us. I would highly recommend it.

I wanted a new hydration / day pack combo for when I take longer hikes (14'ers) and snowshoe. I have a smaller hydration pack, which is good for mtn biking, but it cannot hold extra gear for those unexpected conditions at 14,000 ft. I have a nice day pack, but it only has two water bottle holders and I wanted the extra water capacity of the 100oz Camelback. This combines them into one pack. The pack has almost the same internal capacity as my day pack. The hydration portion is standard Camelback bladder and bite valve. Also has external loops for attaching gear like snowshoes and poles for those times when the trail turns to deep snow.

Took it out twice already once for a run with just water and it held up great not to much rubbing or shaking around ..
Second time we kyaked for three hrs set up camp and hiked a few trails took a bunch of gear to test it out food camp stove gas the works really weighs it down and it felt great no cutting in even the smaller waist strap didn't hinder anything
Great product two of my friends just bought the same one after coming out with me

This has a great reservoir and overall a good pack. I normally like a bit more of a waist belt... This has just webbing that isn't padded, so if you are looking to carry heavier loads you may want to look at another pack. The shoulder straps are also a bit stiff and would chafe if shirt-less. Overall, though, the layout is good, the size right, and a good pack to carry stuff!
