    Nice looking shoe, not like my other hoka's. very narrow in the toe box and run small. Have to return them and now they don't have my size.

    I like most Hoka One One shoes and the conquest 2 fits better on my narrow feet than the original Conquest did. Well worth the money. If you have foot problems or are nearing age 40 or beyond check out Hoka One One.

    Love these shoes. Well made and lots of cushion. I don't have enough time on them to know how they will hold up over time but they look like they will last due to quality materials and good construction. The huge amount of padding underfoot may not be for everyone but for me it is fantastic.

    1, it's very light, barely no weight on feet;
    2, super large bottom of shoes for cushion and help to have a long distance running;
    3, take time to get used to the bottom height.

    I wear size 10.5 in running shoes from ASICS and Nike. The size 10.5 Conquest 2 is also the correct length. I have read complaints about the toe box being too narrow, but I have not had any problems with it. The shoe volume is a little tight at the base of the tongue. My shoes came with two types of insoles, switching to the thinner insole helped. Oddly, this was more noticeable walking than running.

    I have also read complaints about abrasions from the metal shoelace grommets. On my Conquest 2s, the grommets are small, flat, and smooth. I don't see how they could cause a problem even if they touched my sock. The grommets don't touch the sock, only the tongue and the tongue stays firmly in place throughout the run.

    The top edge of the tongue is thin and almost rubbery. It presses against the front of my ankle. After a ten mile run I have a red line but no real damage. I wear quarter socks while running, a very low sock might be a problem.

    The sole is relatively thick and provides a lot of protection. My running terrain is a mix of asphalt, dirt, and gravel paths. An unexpected rock under the forefoot of my ASICS Gel Nimbus can be a painful surprise but just noticeable under the Conquest 2.

    I weigh 160 pounds and run in neutral cushion shoes like Nike Air Max and ASICS Gel Nimbus. Though the Conquest 2 has a thick sole, it is quite firm. To me, the Conquest 2 provides less cushioning than my other shoes and less than I need for long runs.
