Haven't used it yet, but it looks like it will be a great addition to my other Rick Steves luggage that I already own. Only thing that was difficult was the handle. It doesn't pull/extend out very easily.

I really like this bag. In fact, I went back to get another one for my husband. I typically use Eagle Creek, but the cost for this bag and its varied pockets quickly won me over. I will be taking a weeks trip with just this bag and its matching tote.

The bag is heavier than I thought it would be, but seems to be very well-made. I am 5'7" and the handle is long enough for me to use comfortably. There are two main compartments: a padded one for laptop; and a larger one in front. It would be nice if the padding were removable as I don't always have a laptop with me. My biggest gripe is access to the larger outer section: it zips open in a half-circle, so if you want to access anything 81/2 x 11, you need to unzip the whole thing and manuver folders or papers inside. A messenger style flap top would have been much more practical.

This product is one of the best designed laptop carry on bags I have ever used. The compartments are well thought out. But after about weekly use for less than one year the wheels fell apart. The rubber outter cover of the wheels parted ways with the hard plastic underneath. I cut off the rubber outter cover and the plastic wheels remaining work fine, but the wheels are (embarrassingly?) loud when the bag is rolling now. Despite this I still am using the bag and I would still recommend the product.

I'm a traveling therapist but did not want a black rolling briefcase. This bag is stylish and I have everything I need with me in one rolling unit. I'm no longer toting multiple bags back and forth. It holds my planning notebook and several portfolios in the back compartment. A letter size accordian file box fits nicely in the front to hold individual students records so they are easily accessible. I added a second smaller Avanti bag on top to hold all my misc small treatment supplies (including my videocamera). I used the Avanti guidebook holder for all my pencils, pens, desk supplies, etc. It tucks in between both bags and the entire unit stands independently.
