I purchased this 1500 cu in bag and the High Sierra 1820 cubic inch similar product -- the High Sierra weighs 7 oz, this weighs about 15 oz but feels much more durable and has more zippered compartments as well as as the padded laptop flap inside the main compartment. I ended up giving the High Sie... Read More

Little disappointing, should have got the KEEN for a couple dollars more. Decent quality but not enough capacity for an extra pair of clothes along with lap top, files, optical drive, power cords.

I ended up giving the High Sierra to my niece for college as she wanted a lightweight bag -- I am currently in Norway on a ten week trip and this has been perfect for short side trips; for my airline carry-on; and the sturdy materials make it feel more durable than most backpacks Iæve had. Love it!

Will use the bag for travel. While it offers several pockets, it may not have enough for a good organmized trip bag. The main compartment is smaler than we would have hoped. We wanted it biug enough to put in a couple of jackets. We'll see.

I have a Kiva single strap day pack that when loaded puts too much strain on my 70 year old shoulder. This pack, made by Kiva has all of the pluses as well as the traditional two strap harness. The padded handle on the top of the bag is a plus as is the sleeve for sliding this on the handle of a roll-a-board. I use it for my iPad.
