Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by on the slopes from idaho on Friday, December 6, 2013these pants are very comfortable. as others said, they are sized large - i took that info into consideration when making the purchase, they are still a bit roomy at the waist, but fit well through the seat and thighs. overall very comfortable. They are just what I wanted!
Reviewed by Sparkle from Minnesota on Wednesday, December 4, 2013These pants are SUPER cute (I adore the diamond/jewel print) but I was disappointed when I received them because they were just HUGE in the leg area (especially the things). Which of course was very unflattering. The waist fit fine (I carry my weight in my tummy) and the price was GREAT but these had to be returned because of how big they were in the thigh area. If you prefer a baggy fit, these are the pants for you!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by watersports82 from Whitefish, Montana on Saturday, December 15, 2012This is a great all around pair of pants, would be better in warm and wet conditions if waterproofing was improved, but in non-wet they ROCK and are comfy and I can maneuver awesome in them. Great Job again RIDE.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ablatt from Norman, OK on Monday, March 26, 2012Loved the pants, they were comfortable and fit loose! The right weight for spring skiing. I layered with Icebreaker bottoms, 200. Fit was a bit big but I like the fit loose when I am skiing

Question & Answer
“I'm confused about what size I should get in these. My hip measurement is 37.5 inch. Can you tell me which size to get.”
Please refer to the size chart for better measurements with sizing: http://ridesnowboards.com/outerwear/highland-pant
“How do these fit relative to Burton or Oakley pants? Oakley XS are too large for me (waist approx. 28-30), Burton XS are also too large (approx. 30-32), and Burton Junior's pants (e.g. Shayla pant) in XS are too short but fit right on (waist approx. 25-26). I'm wary of getting these since they do not have belt loops. Thanks for your help!”
“these pants are described as a shell, but the description shows a lining. So is there any warmth factor to these pants, or are they just more or less just protecting you from wind, rain?”
These do have a nylon lining as most do, but they are not insulated.
I haven't tried them outside yet, but they seem to have some insulation. I plan to wear thin wool long johns or running tights under them.
