The jacket is described as " your favorite flannel shirt" but it is more western wear style. It has pearl tone snaps and western style accents. I bought it for my son, he has not noticed, so here's hoping no one else will either.

The Waylon has become my new go-to for a light rain shell. I wore it hiking on a misty day and out to dinner after the hike. It looks like a nice flannel. Has a bit of that nylon induced swish noise but not too bad. Slick pearl buttons add extra steez.
Another hit from the Ride boys!

The picture displayed for this item was very helpful to me. I am 5'8", but muscular w/ broad shoulders. I usually order MED clothes, but SMALL ski clothes as they are usually cut very large. I ordered a SMALL and am very happy with the fit. If you look closely at the shoulder area in the picture, it looks a bit tight on the mannequin. That is the case with the SHACKET I ordered, but I think a MED would be way too long and the sleeves would be way too long. Overall, it's a bit snug in the shoulders (there is no restriction to movement though), but it looks great! It's a nice tapered look, but still appropriate for the slopes. I'm looking forward to some spring snow boarding sporting this look!
