Reviewed by glsmith14 from Mobile Al on Tuesday, June 11, 2013I am wearing between a 10 and a 12 and ordered these in a 10 because it was the only size left at the time. They fit perfectly. I ordered the carharts in 12 and they are snug. It goes to show the difference in manufacturers. I wear them for gardening, cutting grass and running to the store.
Reviewed by luna from los angeles on Tuesday, May 21, 2013The shorts are a great design with lots of pockets and the fabric has a nice weight to it However, I ordered a size 2 and the waist measures 32 inches!
Reviewed by Allison from Nashville on Monday, May 13, 2013I didn't have high expectations because they were such a bargain. I am very petite with no hips.Consequently, a lot of things that get good reviews from others look frumpy on me. Not the case with these, and they were immediate favorites. There is an inside drawstring at the waist for adjustment. The length is just below mid-thigh on me. There are plenty of pockets, two slash pockets in front, and 4 that snap, two in the rear and two on the thighs. (I guess when I fill up the pockets, I'll look frumpy anyway.)
Reviewed by CG from Leesburg, VA on Friday, May 10, 2013These shorts fit very nicely are are true to size. The fabric is soft and not heavy; they should be great for any outdoor activity in the warm weather. There does not seem to be much purpose for the inside drawstring unless someone is smaller in proportion in the waist and would need to cinch them. I think I'll remove the drawstring.
Reviewed by Skier Mom from Colorado on Wednesday, May 8, 2013I kind of guessed from zooming in, that these were Eddie Bauer and they are. I love EB, but these are from the era of EB's oversizing everything and were just way too big. I'd recommend going down at least 1 size from your usual. If you can do that, these are great shorts.
