I generally wear size 8-10 depending on the mfg. The size 8 was quite snug in the thighs and huge around the waist. The black pair, size 10, were very large around the waist and when you sat down there was a huge gap at the back waist line and a lot of bulk in the crouch area. I returned the jeans.

Very comfortable for long work hours, but would also wear these out. Excellent quality mid-weight denim. Actually fit at natural waist. Nice length. As stated in description, no back pockets, but how many women use those anyway? Very impressed with these jeans.

Reviewed by Western Wear woman from Omaha, Nebraska on Monday, October 01, 2012I ordered these to wear for work as I recently got hired at a Western wear store and needed to be in dress code there (which is how I found Sierra Trading Post online, in a GOOGLE search; after comparing this company to others, felt this had the VERY BEST selection, price, value, and I love that it is a Christian person's business also!). I would prefer that the actual waist wasn't also so relaxed, making me wish I had actually ordered a size DOWN from my regular size, but we are headed into the cold weather months, and wearing thermal underwear or layering with these will end up being comfortable rather than feeling TOO tight with jeans that fit me snug to begin with, so really, it's all good! READ THE LAUNDERING INSTRUCTIONS on these and follow them, because there is SO MUCH BLACK DYE run off in the washer, even washed this way, for more than one wash, that it could alter the color of other items washed with them. I hang them up when still damp, from the dryer, and smooth them with my hands, then let air dry, and they need no ironing then! I am 5'9" and 128 pounds, re: the fit.
