Reviewed by steve from El Paso on Thursday, August 16, 2012I forded and it was quite stable on 1/2 foot diameter slick stones. They dried in a day or so afterwards, as it was sunny. Most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They fit my wide feet. I wear a 10 1/2 wide. Had a very thin liner, tall, a very thin running low cut sock, and a low medium thick sock. Can feet rocks on trail so better for less of that and more of soil and mud.

Reviewed by happygo from Australia on Sunday, July 01, 2012I bought these boots for my husband but they were too narrow for him. Luckily we have the same foot size so I now wear them. I gave my husband my hikers and he is very happy. I love the Rockports so we are both satisfied.
