I like wearing liner socks under my hiking socks to prevent blisters. These work great for that. Construction quality is adequate and they seem durable enough (when used as liners). The length is way too tall, however, sticking out a couple of inches above my regular length hiking socks. That's not a big deal if you are wearing long pants, but it looks really silly with shorts.

I purchased one pair for myself one for my spouse. They fit well and were cushy and thick enough to wear every day for work. They are thicker then prev ones I ve purchased for skiing. We plan to use these as liners with an up coming winter hiking trip.

With a reviewer saying that these socks were very shiny I was a bit concerned about the look and quality. But while not "dull" I'd never say that these were made with a shiny material, and the quality appears to be great. It's a gift that has yet to be given so I can only give it 4 stars.
“Does "sold as a pack of two" mean sold as a pack of two socks or sold as a pack of two pair? This is not the first time this question has been asked for this product. It was never properly answered. ”
