bought these for use in the sierra mountains to walk the dogs in the winter. first night, 0 degrees and my toes were TOASTY. just know they are dilbert looking -- so ugly that you may be laughed at. but i LOVE how warm they keep my feet and how easy they are to put on and take off. LOVE 'em.

After only a view uses the boot split where tow parts come together where the vamp flexes while while walking. The boot is not waterproof with a split in it!

Finally found a boot for sunrise walks with the dogs. I hike about 6 miles every morning in the woods and open fields. Bean boots if getting wet everyday soon have stitching problems, hiking boots that claim to be waterproof in most cases are not, regular rain boots do not have adequate support or tread. So far (two weeks) these boots have worked well in very wet conditions, decent traction on wet rocks in streams, and even going down hill though the foot does slide forward a bit. Too early to tell if these will handle warmer weather than 60F but so far I get home despite the day with dry feet. Only complaint is they are heavy like my above ankle hiking boots but I will accept it because of the tread and support.
Four stars only because I haven't had them long enough to see how they hold up.
    • Best Uses: Wet Weather
    • Cons: Heavy
    • Pros: Comfortable, Stable
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Width: Feels true to width
