I bought these because my favorite boots finally gave out. I needed something I could stand in all day and work outside. These fit the bill perfectly.

These boots are great. They are very comfortable and great for cold weather.

These are gorgeous boots. I think I'm a little too young for these still. The look and feel of them almost made me not return them. It's too bad the boots were about a size too big. I had to return them and ask for an exchange. Then I made the mistake of looking for more boots here. Then I changed my mind and bought the Asolo Sasslongs. These are keepers as well.

They seem like nice boots. I can't fairly review them untill I see how they hold up over a long period. I didn't get them as a collectors item. They're not made in the USA ,so I have my doubts. For the price I'll take a chance.

The main uses for these boots are going to be for work around the house, walks, weekend camping, and general bad weather boots. When I first put them on, it felt like I was slipping into a cocoon. They feel like a second skin. The interior leather is extremely comfortable. Lacing them up was easy, right to the top. This is my first 8" pair of boots, so I know I'll have to get used to the extra boot-on-skin philosophy. Tread is adequate. It's certainly not like a jungle boot tread, but then again, that's not the niche this boot is trying to fill. The texture seems to be fine, not too hard, not too soft, and is aggressive enough for what I'm going to be using them for. I expect they'll outlast me. One negative: with prolonged wear, the left boot pinches my leg. The pinch occurs near the bottom of the tongue, where the gusset is stitched to the upper. I can probably work this out and find some way to make that stop, but it keeps me from giving this boot a 5/5. If I could give four and a half out of 5, I would say that's about right. Very attractive boots, got positive comments for the small time I had them (I returned original pair for a half size down, so I'm still waiting for their return. This boot is definitely a positive for Rocky's reputation. Absolutely top rate quality of construction. Just got to get rid of that little pinch!

These are extremely good looking boots. Appear to be very well made with excellent materials. They come with a cloth bag for each boot for packing during travel. Super sale price provided a lot of boot for the $.

Boot seems a half size too small, but I removed the "very nice but too bulky for me" foot bed insert and replaced with my orthodox and they were perfect. I have a wide foot and they now fit well. Construction seems very good. No review yet on how waterproof the boot is, have not gotten them wet. Moccasin type toe is a positive for me, it gives the toe box a little more room if your foot slips in a boot when coming down a hill it doesn't jam the nail. Considering buying a second pair as they look like a one of a kind thing.
