Closeouts. Eliot shoes by Rogue are a step up from your favorite sneaks without straying too far from that wonderfully casual look and lace-up styling.
Bought for my God-Mother, who has raved about the comfort and the ease of getting on and off. She says they even seem to help her balance when walking. I'll be looking for this brand for myself!

Bought a pair of these for my Mom for when she travels or just wants to dress up a little, like going out to lunch with her friends. She is in her 80s, but dresses like she is 20 or 30 years younger, compared to how I see her friends dress! I ordered the sage but was leary of the color, which looked like a yellowish-beige on my computer screen. When the shoes arrived, they were a very classy muted sage, a light "dusty" sage green. The shoes are well made, designed to look reasonably slim on the foot (considering the sturdy leather and heavy duty stitching) but still roomy in width. I ordered her usual size and a 1/2 size up, and she kept the larger size. This is not a light shoe, but Mom reports they aren't heavy, either, compared to other walking shoes she has worn. Everything is gently padded, and the strong stitching is merged with the styling of the shoe. I can't think of much to say on the down-side of these shoes...perhaps that the laces match the shoe in color and may be difficult to match, but the manufacturer offsets this by including an extra pair of laces. I just wish these were available in my size!

These are super comfy right out of the box. I wear a 5 1/2 dress shoe and got this in a 6 so I can wear it with thick socks. Haven't used them a lot yet, but they will be great walking shoes, or for yardwork, or just running around doing Saturday errands. I put lanolin cream on them to help make them even more water-resistant.

Feels true to width
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have flat feet. I am a 60 year old female teacher. Therefore, I am on my feet all day. I usually wear New Balance Country Walkers or Birkenstocks. These shoes are a bit heavier than New Balance. I adore the rubber crepe bottoms. It offers very good arch support and does not settle in by the end of the day. I will buy more Rogues with this construction. I usually wear a 6.5 shoe and that is what I bought. It fits fine with a thin sock. The shoe would be too tight if I tried to wear a thick winter sock. I recommend going up a half size.

These shoes are not the greatest to look at but they have really helped with my aching feet. Having been a hairstylist for 25 years and standing on concrete everyday my feet ache all the time. These shoes have really fit the bill and have lessened the pain tremendously. Would recommend for troubled feet.

I love these shoes and Rogues in general-I have a wider foot and these are extremely comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is the shoestrings are very fragile, be prepared to buy another set of them, but they are great shoes, worth every penny~
