I WENT ON A SHORT HIKE WITH THESE CHUKAS OVER A BLUFF AND DOWN TO THE COAST ON VARIED TERRAIN,ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NOT HIKING BOOTS,THE THICK SOLE GIVES CONFIDENCE.I ALSO TESTED THE SOLES TRACTION ON WET SMOOTH ROCKS,SOMETHING YOU DON,T WANT TO TRY WITH HIKING BOOTS,AND FOUND OUT THEY STICK LIKE GLUE.OVER ALL VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE.

Got 2 sizes, 11 1/2 w and 12 med. Both fit ok. I usually wear 11 1/2 med. The exposed cork midsole gives it an unusual casual look.

These boots are very comfortable, with plenty of room in the toe box and good support. Like any shoe with a cork footbed, once you've worn them for a while, they basically mold to your foot. In the past I've found Rogue shoes to vary in their sizing a bit, but these are spot-on perfect.
